"World premiere" is written in large blue letters on the hull of Bavaria's new Sport 39 HT Highline. You can't miss it when you arrive at the Giebelstädter Werft in Hall B7. But even if it is "only" a revised special edition of the already familiar Sport 39, the term "new" is certainly appropriate in this case - the manufacturer has done a lot both externally and internally.

Firstly, there is the larger bathing platform, teak in the cockpit and on the deck areas, underwater spotlights and an LED lighting package to put everything in the right light. Inside, in addition to the "Fusion sound system", there is an interior lighting package and a high-quality worktop with lacquered kitchen fronts. Teak also dominates the look of the wood, with surfaces and fabrics in light beige and charcoal. The headroom in the saloon is a comfortable 2.10 metres.

Depending on the customer's wishes, the 13.22 metre long glider with bathing platform is powered by Mercruiser or Volvo Penta with a double pack of powerful gensets: the output ranges from 2 x 260 to 2 x 370 hp.

We took a look at the new version on the Hanseboot which runs until Sunday 3 November. You can find the impressions from our camera tour on board in the photo gallery!

Christian Tiedt was born in Hamburg in 1975, but grew up in the northern suburbs of the city - except for numerous visits to the harbor, North Sea and Baltic Sea, but without direct access to water sports for a long time. His first adventures then took place on dry land: With the classics from Chichester, Slocum and Co. After completing his vocational training, his studies finally gave him the opportunity (in terms of time) to get active on the water - and to obtain the relevant licenses. First with cruising and then, when he joined BOOTE in 2004, with motorboats of all kinds. In the meantime, Christian has been able to get to know almost all of Europe (and some more distant destinations) on his own keel and prefers to share his adventures and experiences as head of the travel department for YACHT and BOOTE in cruise reports.
