The French shipyard Beneteau is expanding its Gran Turismo range. The new 40 Coupé version offers customers the choice between outboard and inboard engines and will celebrate its world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September 2025.
Customers can choose between two engine variants. The outboard version is powered by two Mercury Verado engines, each with 400 hp (294 kW). The fuel tank holds 1200 litres of petrol. With this engine configuration, the Gran Turismo 40 is expected to reach speeds of over 35 knots.
Alternatively, an inboard version with two Yanmar 8LV diesel engines is available. These each produce 320 hp (235 kW) and, according to the manufacturer, enable a top speed of over 32 knots. The diesel tank holds 805 litres.
The aft cockpit offers plenty of space for guests with a double seating area. An aft-facing wet bar completes the area. There is a sun lounger with folding seats on the foredeck. A bimini cover provides the necessary shade when the sun is shining brightly.
The Gran Turismo 40 has a high-quality interior. There is a double berth in the bow and two further berths in the comfortable underfloor cabin. Special lighting below deck creates a pleasant ambience and the wet room is fully equipped.
In co-operation with the sports brand Alpine, Beneteau is offering a special edition of the Gran Turismo 40. This is characterised by an exclusive colour concept. The hull is painted in signal grey. Black accents can be found on the engine covers, fittings, lighting, door handles and other details. The interior is dominated by navy blue colours for the furniture, upholstery and embroidery.
