With the DB 380SC, Bahraini manufacturer H Al Dhaen Boats is making its first appearance in Europe at boot Düsseldorf 2026. The 41-foot motorboat is intended to combine design, comfort and performance.

The trade fair appearance in Düsseldorf is seen as a strategic milestone and should mark the starting point for the development of a dealer network in Europe, according to the manufacturer's announcement. H Al Dhaen Boats is backed by Mumtalakat, the state wealth fund of the Kingdom of Bahrain. This institutional backing could provide the company with long-term planning security and enable investment in design, engineering and product development.

DB 380SC as a European premiere

The DB 380SC, a 41-foot motorboat that is being shown in Europe for the first time, will take centre stage at the trade fair. The model was created in collaboration with Mulder Design. For both partners, this is the first jointly realised project since their cooperation began in 2025.

Mulder Design enjoys an international reputation for balanced lines and performance-orientated designs. This signature should also be reflected in the DB 380SC. The boat is designed to fulfil the expectations of internationally oriented owners who value design, technology and suitability for everyday use.

Layout, comfort and certification

The DB 380SC is being positioned as a versatile motorboat that is suitable for both day trips and longer excursions. A cabin, galley and washroom are provided below deck. The manufacturer promises a comparatively generous amount of space for a boat of this size.

On deck, the designers of the DB 380SC have opted for a walkaround layout with seating and lounge areas in the bow and stern. This arrangement is intended to enable a clear separation of driving, relaxation and socialising, while at the same time creating smooth transitions.

The model is classified according to RINA, which underlines the shipyard's claim to fulfil international safety and quality standards.

Technical basis and performance framework

The hull of the DB 380SC is designed as a stepped V and is made of GRP using vacuum infusion construction. The boat is expected to weigh 6.6 tonnes. According to the manufacturer, the maximum recommended engine power is up to 1,050 hp. The boat is therefore aimed at owners who expect sporty performance as well as comfort.

With a length of 12.6 metres, a width of 3.57 metres and a moderate draught of around 0.72 metres, the DB 380SC can be used in a variety of areas. The specified tank capacities (fuel 1,300 litres, fresh water 247 litres, sewage 170 litres) indicate that longer distances are also realistically planned.

Internationalisation and other models

H Al Dhaen Boats already has dealer structures in several non-European markets, including the Middle East, Turkey, South East Asia and the Caribbean. The presentation at boot Düsseldorf should now lay the foundation for a sustainable presence in Europe.

In parallel with the DB 380SC, the shipyard is announcing further models that are also to be developed together with Mulder Design. The trade fair in Düsseldorf could therefore not only mark a première, but also a starting point for a broader range of models in the future.

The DB 380SC can be seen in Hall 1, Stand A36.
