Besnati founder Davide Besnati wants to use the project to close a gap that he himself has recognised as an owner over the years, according to the announcement for boot Düsseldorf. Tenders are often thought of in purely functional terms, while large yachts have long been defined by diversity, design standards and individualisation. Besnati is therefore pursuing the goal of developing a product that matches the yacht in terms of design and at the same time offers an independent sailing experience.
The young company's aspirations are clearly Italian in character. From conception to production, the project should stand for quality materials, careful craftsmanship and a design that combines aesthetics and function.
The first model of the new brand to be announced is the Hurlo 325, which is celebrating its world premiere at boot Düsseldorf. With a length of 3.25 metres and a width of 1.78 metres, the boat is aimed at owners looking for a compact but performance-oriented tender. The lines were created by designer and engineer Valerio Rivellini, whose designs have already been used in other yacht projects.
According to the manufacturer, the design of the Hurlo 325 is modelled on the automotive world. Go karts and jet skis served as a reference for handling, speed and function. The result is a boat that not only transports, but also wants to be actively driven.
The Hurlo 325 will be powered by a 170 hp Rotax jet. In this configuration, a top speed of over 50 knots is planned. This would clearly set the boat apart from classic tenders and position it more in the direction of a leisure craft. It is to be steered using a steering wheel with a Formula 1-inspired design. All essential functions are bundled there to enable the most direct driving experience possible.
Besnati also formulates a clear claim here. The interplay of performance, control and ease of use should offer maximum riding pleasure.
The Hurlo 325 is available in three versions. "Classic", with its silver colour scheme and beige upholstery, is designed to appeal to a more elegant target group. "Sport" focuses on black-grey and Alcantara and is aimed at a dynamically oriented target group. "Fish", on the other hand, is designed with special details and accessories for anglers. All variants share a dual Garmin display, a modern audio system and the option of extensive customisation.
Besnati announces that surfaces, colours and equipment can be adapted to the respective yacht. The aim is not to position the tender as a foreign body, but as a design complement to the mother yacht.
The Hurlo 325 is merely the prelude. Besnati is planning a whole family of tenders in different sizes around this model. All boats are to follow the same guiding principle: Tenders should not just be seen as aids, but as objects of pleasure in their own right that can help shape the character of a yacht.
The Hurlo 325 can be seen in Hall 9, Stand D25.
