The 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival Held on the French Côte d’Azur, Europe’s largest in-water boat show attracts shipyards, dealers and water sports enthusiasts from all over the world every year. Over 700 boats – ranging from compact day cruisers to luxurious superyachts – are on display in the two harbours, Vieux Port and Port Canto. Numerous world premieres and innovations, particularly in sustainable propulsion technologies and modern on-board electronics, make the show one of the industry’s most important gathering places, including in the equipment sector.
For the BOOTE editorial team, the Cannes Yachting Festival is the most important trade fair of the year alongside boot Düsseldorf. What makes it special is that, as the boats are in the water, there is the opportunity to test sail many models in the mornings and evenings. This means you not only get a first impression, but also a real feel for how the boats handle on the water. But with more than 700 motorboats and sailing yachts on display, the question naturally arises: what should you definitely take a look at? We’ve already been in touch with the shipyards in advance to find out which new models they’re bringing to Cannes. Fairline is presenting new models for the first time in a long while, and this year there’s also a houseboat on show. Furthermore, Nimbus is showcasing a new model, which naturally also tops the list of exciting new releases.
With the M.10, the French shipyard is unveiling an electric catamaran. It is designed entirely around solar power and electric propulsion. Twelve solar panels power the battery system and, according to the shipyard, enable a virtually unlimited range at five knots.
The Sport Tender 35 is the first boat in the new ‘Sport Cruiser 35’ series, which is set to be followed by a Weekender and a Coupé version. The shipyard has opted for a completely newly designed two-stage hull. Although the new boat is officially classified as a tender, the living area below deck offers sufficient space for overnight stays.
A houseboat is also on display in Cannes this year, making its world debut. The Oasis Meu features two decks, a saloon, two bedrooms, a roof terrace with a hot tub and spacious outdoor areas. It is powered by two 15-kW electric motors.
With the new CS10 HT, Karnic presents a sporty hardtop boat that combines dynamic design with a spacious and versatile layout. Below deck, the CS10 HT features a spacious cabin with a seating area that can be converted into a double berth. A separate bow cabin, ample storage space and a separate bathroom area with shower and WC ensure the necessary comfort, even on trips lasting several days.
