The new Libeccio 9.5 Cabin was presented at the Genoa Boat Show in autumn. It offers a well-protected cockpit thanks to a fixed roof that starts at the windscreen and completely covers the helm station. Like all models in the Libeccio line, it was designed and constructed in 3D format and manufactured using a CNC milling machine. The so-called VTR hull is manufactured using a vacuum infusion process and clad with hand-finished teak.

Spacious deck area

The Libecco 9.5 Cabin was developed in collaboration with designer and engineer Valerio Rivellini and is very spacious on deck, both in the bow with a large sunbed and at the stern, where there is a table and another sunbathing area. Further aft is a huge bathing platform.

The cooking facilities are also located outside. It is located under the driver's seat and includes two fridges, a sink and a cooker. Below deck there is a cabin with a king-size double bed and a sofa bed. The bathroom is large and has a shower.

The Libecco is powered by two 195 hp engines, with which it can reach a top speed of 28 knots. Alternatively, a hybrid drive can also be installed, which enables a journey time of two to five hours at a speed of 7 knots.

About Cantiere Mimì

Cantiere Mimì was founded in Naples in 1975. The founder Salvatore Senese still works at the shipyard today. His first boats were a gozzo and a 4.6 metre long launch made of fibreglass. As the number of customers increased, the family business expanded, and thanks to a well-structured dealer network and co-operation with engineers, the company was able to expand beyond national borders.

His electrical engineering studies at HAW Hamburg took him from the southern Heidekreis (Lower Saxony) to the Hanseatic city. Ralf Marquard has been working for the BOOTE editorial team since 1997, where he trained as a test editor. He tests both small inflatable boats and larger yachts. His personal boat is a 4.50 meter long, self-built wooden boat with a 50 hp outboard motor. In 2007, he was appointed deputy editor-in-chief at BOOTE.
