After Cantiere Mimì has renewed the large Gozzo versions in recent years, it is now the turn of the models around 8.5 metres.

Cantiere Mimì presented its new Libeccio 8.5 Cabin at the 2024 boat show in Rome. A boat that, according to the shipyard, combines the advantages of a sports version with the comfort of a model with a cabin. Technical data: 8.50 metres long, 2.50 metres wide.

Two more models at Cantiere Mimì

Two more models will now be presented at Nauticsud 2025 in Naples. Boats from the Libeccio range: the Libeccio 8.5 Classic Wheel and the new Libeccio 7.5 WA. According to the shipyard, these models complement the existing product line and meet the different requirements of boat owners.

The first model is the Libeccio 8.5 Classic Wheel, which follows the upper Cabin model in terms of length. Its sister, the Libeccio 8.5 Classic, is steered using a tiller. The new model - the suffix 'Wheel' in the name gives it away - is steered from a console with a steering wheel. In contrast to the version with a tiller, the steering position is located further forwards. This in turn is adjoined by a huge, raised sunbathing area. Below this area there is a cabin with a large double berth and refrigerator; a toilet is also available as an option. Technical data: 8.50 metres long, 2.50 metres wide.

Driver's seat with integrated refrigerator

The second model to be presented at the boat show in Naples is the Libeccio 7.5 WA, a revised version of one of the shipyard's iconic models. The cockpit features a driver's seat with an integrated refrigerator and a sofa. Compared to the classic version, the new Libeccio 7.5 has been designed with more modern lines and a more spacious interior. Cantiere Mimi offers built-in engines with power outputs ranging from 81 kW (110 hp) to 143 kW (195 hp), accelerating the boat up to a top speed of 25 knots.

With the completion of the Libeccio line and the steady expansion of its product range, the shipyard is consistently pursuing its ambitious goals for 2025. In addition to expanding its dealer network, the company is planning a comprehensive reorganisation of its production processes, the first results of which will be presented soon.
