This sight is certainly one of the most bizarre things you can see on the water

In a fast-growing market such as the boating market, it is crucial to keep your finger on the pulse. The Car 500 Off-Shore combines the iconic features of the Fiat 500 with marine-grade materials and innovative technology.

The 4.7 metre long Limited Edition was developed by 24-year-old Italian entrepreneur Antonio Pietro Maria Galasso in collaboration with Fiat. It embodies the spirit of La Dolce Vita in a unique way. The boat offers everything you love about the Fiat 500 - from genuine leather seats to stainless steel accents in the interior. At the same time, the marine-grade exterior materials ensure durability and resistance to the elements.

The design has been cleverly adapted: The roof has been removed and the rear bench replaced by two comfortable sun loungers. However, the "500 of the seas" remains true to its iconic shape. With its round headlights, rear-view mirrors and half wheel arches, it is reminiscent of the design of the Fiat 500. The boat can be optionally equipped with loudspeakers, a radio, a hand shower or a modern dashboard.

An outboard motor provides propulsion

With an engine power of up to 115 hp, the boat reaches top speeds of 39 km/h. The "500 boat" can carry up to five passengers and is equipped with a small swimming platform and a ladder, making it a day boat for excursions.

The Car 500 Off-Shore is available in two versions: the Puglia Edition with turquoise paintwork and the Miami Edition in a peach-coloured orange. Only 500 examples of this exclusive boat were built, of which only a limited number are available for purchase. Prices start at around 115,000 euros - in comparison, a Fiat 500 convertible costs around 20,500 euros, albeit without the ability to swim and with just 70 hp.

If you don't want to pay the high price, you can also hire the Car 500 off-shore on the Amalfi Coast and in Miami. In Positano, Italy, for example, there is a 1.5-hour "Dolce Vita Sunset Tour" for €400 or the exclusive vintage wedding proposal package for €1,200.

"At first they thought I was crazy, but now, with 60 units sold and 50 families employed, our Fiat 500 Car Off-Shore Dayboat speaks for itself," explains Dott Antonio Galasso, CEO of Car Off-Shore. "I used to own a Fiat 500 convertible and was constantly inspired by it. Now that I'm thinking about buying a new one, the iconic 500 is an integral part of my daily life. Fiat is not just a brand, it's a heritage that inspires innovation at every step."

Damien Dally, Managing Director of Fiat UK, is also delighted: "There really is nothing that epitomises La Dolce Vita more than this boat. The Fiat 500 is a design that is recognised worldwide, but I never thought I would one day see this iconic silhouette floating on the Amalfi Coast. It looks stunning both on land and on the water."
