The "Cobalt" brand is not only recognised in America for the more upmarket boats, but is also appreciated by European boaters due to its overall finish: perfectly glossy gelcoat, cleanly painted interiors, large, solid stainless steel fittings and window frames also impress buyers on the other side of the ocean. A further indication of the high quality are the lined storage compartments, solid cleat fastenings (reinforced laminate) and the firm and neatly stitched upholstery.
A look at the boat data table shows that good, solid materials not only have their price, but also their weight. At 2205 kg, the trailer captain needs at least a 3.0 t trailer, or even better one with a gross vehicle weight rating of 3500 kg. SUVs and off-road vehicles must be used as towing vehicles.
The trailer may then travel to inland waterways and coastal waters (CE category C).
The Cobalt is ideally equipped for these areas, especially with the tower (extra) for waterskiing and wakeboarding.
wakeboarding. Swimming trips with friends are also possible in the large cockpit, and if you want to spend the night on the boat, you can do so on an asymmetrical bunk below deck. The fact that the cabin is not equally long on both sides is due to a small wet room with toilet on the port side, which is accessible from the cockpit. A smoked glass sliding door ensures discretion.
The range of engines includes V-8 petrol engines without exception. Our test boat is powered by a MerCruiser MAG 350 (300 hp).
