The Italian manufacturer Castoldi is expanding its range of tenders with the new Jet Tender 17, a completely newly developed model with more space, improved functionality and greater comfort.
With a length of 5.20 metres, the Jet Tender 17 offers an unusually large amount of space for a tender of this size. The generous amount of space is the result of an optimised interior layout. Practical details such as a wide tailgate, a large loading area and a bow ramp for landing on the beach increase the utility value. Optional sun canopies are available for the bow and stern to protect against wind and waves.
The dinghy is powered by a 170 hp (125 kW) diesel engine. This is coupled with a Castoldi Turbodrive 224 DA water jet drive. The combination is intended to ensure good manoeuvrability, shallow draught and reliability. The hull is made of Kevlar-reinforced laminate. This construction promises high lateral stability and good ride comfort even in waves.
According to the manufacturer, the Jet Tender 17 is suitable for use by the crew as well as for the comfortable transport of guests. The versatile equipment and spacious design make the tender a practical all-rounder for various tasks on board a yacht. The new Castoldi Jet Tender 17 is already in production and can be ordered. The manufacturer does not provide information on prices.
