The basic version of the X-Fun weighs just 30 kg and can be easily transported in the boot of a car or on the roof of a motorhome. When inflated, the four metre long and 1.70 metre wide catamaran offers space for four people.
The hulls and deck are made from a dropstitch construction, which is also used for the high-pressure bottoms of inflatable boats or SUPs. This means that no additional stiffeners are required. They consist of separate air chambers and can be inflated in 20 minutes. A battery-operated air pump is included in the scope of delivery. Two air rollers, which can be attached to the deck, serve as seats. An additional dropstitch element can be added in the front area to create more deck space. Alternatively, an aluminium construction reminiscent of a roof rack can be installed, which is suitable for storing heavy, sharp-edged objects.
The dinghy can be motorised with an electric motor between 500 and 1000 watts or equipped with a 10 m² kite. The Remigo One electric motor then also serves as a rudder. The kite is launched and retrieved directly from the boat so that nobody has to go into the water. Xtramarine offers the X-FUN in various configurations. The basic price for the catamaran without propulsion is 5,540 euros. The version with the ePropulsion eLite 500 W electric motor is available for 6,690 euros. The complete kiteboat kit, consisting of catamaran, 10 m² kite and Remigo-ONE 1kW motor, costs €9,540. All packages already include the "Ready to Sail" accessories such as carrying bag, electric pump, paddle, webbing ladder, repair kit and motor mount.
