Our test boat belongs to the Open Bow category and is a typical US boat. However, this type of boat can also be used in our latitudes, as it can be fully utilised from the bow to the stern. And if you really want it closed at the front, you can button up the foredeck with a tarpaulin.
The advantage of an additional seating area in the bow is the number of passengers that can be taken on board. The Glastron GLS 215 is designed for ten people, so you need a special licence for seven or more people on land, but not on the water. Not even if you order a wakeboard tower, the special equipment carrier, to which you attach the water ski towline.
Glastron is one of the traditional brands in the USA and, like many other boat brands, belongs to the Genmar Group. And it "bakes" the majority of its trailer boats in large machines, especially the hulls.
