Summer, sun, boat on wheels?
The Fiat 1110 boat car is not really an amphibious vehicle. It is more a symbol of adventure with extravagance and humour. The 1100 boat car is equipped with a teak floor, porthole lifebuoy and was built in 1953 by Carrozzeria Coriasco to advertise a boat school, the "Scuola Nautica Scarani", in Bologna.
Today, the piece can be seen in the Louwman Museum in The Hague.
