The Dutch boat builder Flynt Yachts and the design studio Mulder Design have jointly developed a new flagship. The Flynt Revolante 48 expands the manufacturer's existing model range, which already includes the Speedera 26 and Centura 32. With a length of 48 feet, the new model offers significantly more space and comfort than its smaller siblings.
The Revolante 48 was designed as a day boat with overnight accommodation. This means that it is suitable for day trips with family and friends as well as for short weekend trips. The deck is designed to support a variety of uses.
At the stern, a bathing platform leads to spacious sun loungers separated by a central passageway. The cockpit has L-shaped sofas and a central wet bar. The helm station is located on the starboard side and offers space for two people. There is another fixed sunbed on the foredeck, which offers additional space for relaxing.
Below deck, the Revolante 48 surprises with a fully-fledged interior. An aft cabin with two single berths offers plenty of storage space. The bathroom is equipped with a separate shower cubicle. The combination of galley and dining area with seating unit can be converted into two additional berths so that a total of four people can sleep on board.
The interior is characterised by modern, warm materials and the meticulous attention to detail for which Flynt Yachts is renowned.
The Revolante 48 is powered by two Volvo Penta engines with 480 hp (353 kW) each as standard. These are designed to accelerate the boat to a top speed of around 38 knots. The completely newly developed hull has been optimised for speed, comfort and efficiency and is designed to ensure precise handling in all sailing conditions.
Mulder Design describes the handling of the Revolante 48 as that of a "grand tourer" - a comparison with luxurious, high-performance cars designed for long journeys.
The design of the Revolante 48 is striking but not obtrusive. The lines are defined by skilfully shaped hull sides in which concave surfaces merge with a clear longitudinal edge and a bevelled edge below the bulwark.
The Revolante 48 will be available both with and without a hardtop. In addition, Mulder Design is already working on a centre-console version, the Flynt 48 S, which will be available with both inboard and outboard engines. The first Flynt Revolante 48 is scheduled to be launched in spring 2026.
