With the Addicted 32 GTS, Hagel Marine is launching its first motorboat, which is designed to impress with its combination of performance and Nordic elegance. We got our first impression of the 32 GTS at the Cannes Yachting Festival

The 32-foot boat is aimed at people who appreciate both sporty adventures and relaxed days on the water. With a variety of engine options, from a single 350 hp Honda engine to two 500 hp Mercury engines, it is designed to appeal to every boater. The Addicted 32 GTS has a length of 9.75 metres and a width of 2.17 metres and is approved for up to eight people (CE class: C). With a weight of 2.8 tonnes for the twin-engine version, the boat can be trailered on a 3.5-tonne trailer.

There is a good range of equipment on board for long days on the water. A central console with T-top provides protection and offers space for an optional on-board toilet for additional comfort.

Comfort and customisation options

The cockpit of the Addicted is equipped with LED lighting and has a wet bar with sink and refrigerator, which increases comfort on board. Hydraulic steering and a Simrad GPS system, which provides engine data and navigation information, are also part of the basic equipment.

In addition to the standard equipment, Hagel Marine offers various options with which the boat can be customised to individual requirements. As mentioned at the beginning, these include more powerful engines, customised colours for the hull and deck, teak floor coverings and additional technical equipment such as a gyro stabiliser or an extended GPS display.

The basic model of the Addicted 32 GTS, equipped with a Mercury 225 hp engine, is available from €168,000 (plus VAT).

Ole Puls was born in Schleswig in 1999. He quickly swapped the football pitch for the Schlei and grew up sailing a wide variety of dinghies and tall ships. From his grandfather's self-built wooden opti and a Europe to a 49er and an X362 Sport, there was a lot to choose from. After leaving school, Puls decided to train as a boat builder at the high-tech shipyard Knierim Yachtbau in Kiel in 2016. He successfully completed his training in 2020 and stayed at the shipyard as a bachelor. In 2022, he decided not only to build boats, but also to test them. Since then, he has been working for Delius Klasing Verlag in the Test & Technology section of BOOTE magazine. The training he received and the eye for detail and quality of workmanship he acquired help him immensely today. Even though he is a regatta sailor with heart and soul, he feels right at home on motorboats and enjoys separating his professional and private lives and yet combining them. Because we all know one thing: there is simply no better place to be than on the water.
