Itama 62 RS
The new version of the timeless classic motorboat will not only delight lovers of Mediterranean traditions. The cult elements of the Itama have been enriched with the latest trends.

It is the sporty shapes and this fresh breeze of style and innovation that make the Itama 62RS even more attractive. According to her fathers, who want to write a new chapter in the shipyard's history with this blend of dynamism, power and elegance. If you read it, you will learn that the popular Open, with its hull shapes and colours, teak deck and technological upgrades that make it smarter, is a hymn to intelligent cruising.

In a nutshell: the architects and designers of Ferretti's engineering department, to which Itama belongs, have combined the tradition that has given the yacht its cult status with a style that reflects the latest trends.

The innovative helm station, which is equipped with two 12-inch screens, digital instruments and a plotter, is absolutely trendy. The helm station and the "cockpit dining room" furnished with a sofa, table and bar are located under a bimini top that is operated at the touch of a button. Up and down without muscle power, made possible by electro-hydraulics. Welcome to the 21st century.

Fun in the sun is guaranteed by two large sun loungers between the seating area and bathing platform and on the foredeck, which is easily accessible through the passage in the windscreen.

Two 1400 hp engines propel the Itama to 40 knots

The space below the foredeck is shared by the living area and bedroom. In the living area, where light colours and walnut wood are the order of the day, there is space for the galley and a dinette that can be transformed into a sofa bed in no time at all. Overnight accommodation is in the foredeck, where the owner's suite and two guest cabins are installed. It goes without saying that all bedrooms have comfortable double or single beds and a separate bathroom, right?

The two twelve-cylinder diesel engines from Maschinenfabrik Augsburg-Nürnberg (MAN) are well known. The shipyard's in-house friends stand under the cockpit floor in front of conventional drives with propeller shafts. Equipped with 1400 hp (each), the MAN V12 engines propel the 19.03 m long Itama 62RS through the water at a speed of 40 knots at full load. The cruising speed, for which a range of 255 nautical miles is promised, is still a sporty 37 knots on paper. Important new features include Seakeeper (optional) and Humphree Interceptor, which are intended to provide more stability and the perfect trim.
