The LEKKER 45 replaces the 44 model and offers noticeable increases in size. The interior has grown by a fifth and the bathing platform at the stern now measures 1.60 metres in width - 30 centimetres more than its predecessor. The aluminium roof is larger, and the new passageway facilitates access to the foredeck thanks to a lower step. There are plenty of cup holders on deck, and an additional porthole opening on the port side brings more daylight into the cabin.
Two Volvo Penta D6-480 DPI diesels power the boat. Each engine delivers 480 hp (353 kW) and works with Z-drive. The joystick docking system enables precise manoeuvring in the tightest of spaces. A Sleipner SE-100 bow thruster provides support during harbour manoeuvres. Volvo's Dynamic Positioning System automatically keeps the boat at a GPS position - useful when anchoring or stopping on the water. An autopilot is also part of the equipment.
Safety and convenience: two displays show charts, depth data and radar images from the installed Garmin HD radar. The Starlink satellite internet also works far from the coast on the high seas. The JL Audio Luxe system comprises eight loudspeakers, two subwoofers and two amplifiers. Underwater lights skilfully set the scene for the hull after dark.
A Webasto air conditioning system with 13,000 BTU cools or heats the cabin. The electrically adjustable tables in the cockpit can be adjusted in height and converted into a reclining surface with cushions. Sun protection systems with poles protect the bow and stern from direct sunlight. Covers protect all cushions when not in use
