RIBs have a large fan base and are becoming longer, more comfortable and more stylish. The latter is particularly true of the GranTurismo 12.5 AMare Limited Edition.

The Lomac GranTurismo 12.5 AMare Limited Edition celebrates its world premiere at the Cannes 2025 trade fair. It is the first model from the collaboration with the well-known designer Alessandro Martorana, who now also works as artistic director for 'Lomac Atelier'. Alessandro Martorana's signature stands for Italian craftsmanship, luxury and meticulous attention to materials and workmanship.

Exclusive service

Lomac Atelier is an exclusive service for owners who want a customised boat in both style and detail. Following the official launch at the Düsseldorf boat show earlier this year, the project is taking shape with the AMare Limited Edition, which is based on the well-known GranTurismo 12.5 model.

The GT 12.5 AMare is characterised by its exclusive concept: individual colours, customised upholstery and fittings as well as a matching engine cowling. The result is a boat with an exterior that is both sophisticated and powerful, while the interior reflects the attention to detail of haute couture.

Powerful outboard motors

Power is provided by two Yamaha XTO outboard engines, each with 450 hp (331 kW), the Japanese brand's most powerful and technologically advanced outboards. This motorisation ensures both power and efficiency on the water.

Lomac Milano was founded in 1960 and is now run by the third generation of the Lo Manto family. The company designs and builds inflatable boats of the highest quality, characterised by their elegant yet sporty design and 100% Italian craftsmanship. The current range comprises 58 models in six series and is sold in over 20 countries through a network of around 70 dealers.

Ralf Marquard discovered his enthusiasm for boating on the tranquil Aller, first with inflatable boats and later with a 6-meter cabin cruiser. His electrical engineering studies at HAW Hamburg took him from the southern Heidekreis (Lower Saxony) to the Hanseatic city. Ralf Marquard has been working for the BOOTE editorial team since 1997, where he trained as a test editor. He tests both small inflatable boats and larger yachts. His personal boat is a 4.50 meter long, self-built wooden boat with a 50 hp outboard motor. In 2007, he was appointed deputy editor-in-chief at BOOTE.
