The new Fjord 41 XP is the brainchild of renowned yacht designer Patrick Benfield. A highlight of this yacht can be seen immediately at the stern: two 600 hp Mercury outboards. This V12 model received the "Innovation Award" from the jury of the "European Powerboat of the Year" in 2022. And while we're on the subject of awards, here's another one: The sister boat, the Fjord 41 XL (with two inboards), received the "European Powerboat of the Year" award in 2021. Combining both awards results in the new top model 41 XP, so to speak.
Andrea Zambonini, Product Manager at Fjord: "With the new Fjord 41 XP, we have consistently developed the successful concept of the 41 XL for a powerful outboard drive. With the 41 XP as the first production yacht with V12 outboards, Fjord is defining a new standard."
According to the shipyard, the two V12 engines ensure "breathtaking acceleration" and a top speed of over 40 knots. The driver and co-pilot sit three or four (depending on the layout variant) next to each other in comfortable sports seats. State-of-the-art technology at the driving position ensures easy navigation and operation. This includes: adjustable steering wheel, Active Trim System, joystick including autopilot and SKYHOOK (virtual anchoring).
According to Fjord, the carpool is protected even at full speed by the characteristic T-top and a wide range of windscreen options. The T-top spans around two-thirds of the entire cockpit. The latter can be ordered in a wide variety of layouts, including the choice of galley and seat/recliner combinations. The shipyard has also installed another sun lounger on the foredeck. Bathing enthusiasts can also have fun on a large split bathing platform. There is plenty of storage space in the cockpit for water toys, for example.
Several layout variants are also available for the interior. A double berth and a wet room are standard, but the guest cabin is an option. You can then choose whether you want an additional toilet or a galley, for example. The forward cabin can be separated from the rest with a space-saving sliding door for an extra charge. According to the shipyard, the typical hull windows ensure maximum natural light in the interior and contribute to the unmistakable look. The new 41 XP remains true to the typical Fjord DNA.
