Novelty: Sea Ray 250 Sunsport - Turning one into two

Recognising and using synergies: This is a proven recipe for success - and also the reason why the brand new Sea Ray 250 Sun Sport is built on the same hull as the 250 SLX. Its dimensions of 7.77 m in length and 2.59 m in width, as well as its weight of around 2631 kg, make it a potential trailer boat, even if you need an overwidth licence for the road. However, unlike the SLX, the new model is not a bowrider, but a fully-fledged day cruiser; this means that the bow is closed and the boat not only houses a toilet room with pump toilet and small washbasin like the open version, but also a comfortable, V-shaped double berth, a wardrobe and numerous storage options. In the cockpit, there are again many similarities, such as the large U-shaped seating area in front of the stern sunbed and the bathing platform with integrated folding step, which makes it easier to get in and out of the water. The shipyard also makes no distinction when it comes to the engine: the 250 Sun Sport is available with a petrol engine between 300 and 430 hp.
