According to the shipyard, the starting point for the Pedro Liberty is maximum comfort and convenience. All rooms on this new boat will be on a single level. The rectangular layout with straight walls allows the living space to be optimally utilised. The first model, which will have a length of 12.50 metres, thus offers a living space of over 30 m² plus a large terrace on the foredeck.
The buyer can organise the rest of the layout according to their own wishes. Furniture and kitchen appliances can be chosen as you are used to at home. The boat is equipped with complete thermal insulation, underfloor heating and double glazing. This makes it ideal for year-round use.
Pedro has long been a traditional name in Dutch steel yacht building. The Liberty was designed together with Martin Bekebrede, himself a well-known designer of motor yachts for many years. Good sailing characteristics were also an important prerequisite for this boat. The underwater hull is designed in such a way that no concessions had to be made in this respect. And that is a significant difference to houseboats, for example.
Another characteristic feature is the use of bollards. This means that if you have to wait in front of the bridge, for example, you can moor the boat without having to dock. At the touch of a button, you can lower the integrated telescopic piles and anchor the boat firmly to the ground.
The Pedro Liberty is equipped with a hydraulic drive. The power is generated by a conventional diesel engine, but an electric version can also be supplied. The boat is available in various dimensions, all of which are designed for coastal waters. With a height of 2.50 metres above the waterline, many inland waters with fixed bridges are also easily accessible.
