According to Alexis Fléchier, General Manager of Venture Group Europe, the newly launched Quicksilver 705 Open sets new standards in its class and is the perfect family boat for day trips. The boat is said to be suitable for fishing, cruising and water sports. Initial feedback has been extremely positive. "It's exciting to see how well the boat is received by visitors."
According to the shipyard, the 705 Open was developed in close collaboration with Quicksilver customers. Particular emphasis was placed on user feedback and wishes in order to build a boat that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. The boat has a modern cockpit equipped with a stylish windscreen. Customers can choose between two optional electronics packages: a 7-inch cruise display or a 9-inch NSX display.
For anglers, the 705 Open offers numerous features that meet the demands of the fishing market. These include a newly developed T-top with integrated rod holders and generous storage space to stow accessories safely and space-savingly. These features should make the boat particularly interesting for hobby and sports anglers. In addition to the angler-friendly functions, Quicksilver has also paid attention to an attractive appearance: The extended standard equipment includes a black bow, a black windscreen and black centre cleats, giving the boat a modern and sporty look.
The cockpit layout is designed to make optimum use of the available space. There is a wide bench seat in the stern, which can be transformed into a dining or socialising area by simply rotating the pilot and co-pilot seats. In addition, a new, large bathing platform ensures safe and comfortable access in and out of the water, which is particularly beneficial for water sports enthusiasts and families with children.
The design of the 705 Open is characterised by Quicksilver's new design language, which was first introduced on Quicksilver's flagship model, the 805 Open. This design language is reflected in a striking hull band and elegant stripes in the centre of the boat, which give the boat a dynamic character.
