Saxdor Yachts is presenting a new model, the 400 GTS, at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2025. The model expands Saxdor's 400 series, which already includes the sporty 400 GTO and the versatile 400 GTC. With the GTS, the Finnish shipyard is now focusing on an even more open concept that emphasises the feeling of being close to the sea.

The 400 GTS has a completely open deck, which is complemented by a T-top roof and a half walkaround layout. It is characterised by the folding side decks, which create additional space on the water, as well as flexible seating and lounge areas. The model is therefore aimed at owners who value an intensive outdoor experience without compromising on comfort and functionality.

In the bow area, a dinette can be converted into a large sunbathing area by lowering the table. Aft, two opposite rows of sofas around a dining table ensure a cosy get-together; this can also be converted into a sun lounger. The steering position has three seats as standard and is well protected under the T-top. A windscreen connected to the roof and optional side glass doors offer additional protection.

Two cabins for overnight stays

Despite its open character, the Saxdor 400 GTS is not only intended for day trips. There are two cabins below deck that can also be used for overnight stays. The model thus combines the fun and freedom of an open boat with the versatility of a cruiser.

Performance with V10 drive

Like its sister models, the 400 GTS is also based on a hull with a double step profile. This ensures efficient planing behaviour, stable handling and superior sailing characteristics. The boat is powered by new Mercury V10 outboards with 425 hp each. This positions the 400 GTS as a powerful yet efficient cruiser that epitomises the brand's philosophy of "more boat, more style, without compromise".

A new chapter for the 400 series

With its open concept, variable deck design and characteristic Saxdor decks, the 400 GTS adds a particularly emotional variant to the range. Whether for day trips along the coast, sociable outings or stylish anchoring - the GTS brings a new level of experience to the 400 family.

Editor Test & Technology

Ole Puls was born in Schleswig in 1999. He quickly swapped the football pitch for the Schlei and grew up sailing a wide variety of dinghies and tall ships. From his grandfather's self-built wooden opti and a Europe to a 49er and an X362 Sport, there was a lot to choose from. After leaving school, Puls decided to train as a boat builder at the high-tech shipyard Knierim Yachtbau in Kiel in 2016. He successfully completed his training in 2020 and stayed at the shipyard as a bachelor. In 2022, he decided not only to build boats, but also to test them. Since then, he has been working for Delius Klasing Verlag in the Test & Technology section of BOOTE magazine. The training he received and the eye for detail and quality of workmanship he acquired help him immensely today. Even though he is a regatta sailor with heart and soul, he feels right at home on motorboats and enjoys separating his professional and private lives and yet combining them. Because we all know one thing: there is simply no better place to be than on the water.
