The Finnish shipyard Saxdor is adding a second model to its 460 series. Following the 460 GTC Following the launch of the model with an enclosed wheelhouse, the 460 GTS is now being launched. The 14-metre-long boat features an open-deck design. Its world premiere will take place at the Cannes Yachting Festival from 8 to 13 September 2026.

Open-plan design with weather protection

The 460 GTS does away with the enclosed wheelhouse found on the GTC version. Instead, the helm station is situated beneath an open hardtop. Sliding doors can be fitted as an option to provide shelter in bad weather. According to the manufacturer, this design is intended to increase freedom of movement on board and improve interaction between the skipper and guests. A distinctive feature is the folding side terraces, which bring the boat closer to the water and create additional space.

High demand at Saxdor

Saxdor designed the 460 GTS for owners who frequently use their boat at anchor or moored at a jetty. The deck area offers space for several seating areas. There is a sun lounger in the bow. The 460 models are based on the same hull. According to the shipyard, the design is intended to provide stability both whilst underway and at anchor.

Production of the 460 series is taking place at the shipyards in Elk, Poland, and Larsmo, Finland. According to Saxdor, all production slots for 2026 have already been allocated. Prospective buyers should expect delivery times extending into 2027. “The launch of our flagship range, which includes the 460 GTC and now also the new 460 GTS, reflects our ambition to continue redefining the modern boating experience,” says Erna Rusi, CEO of Saxdor Yachts.

More Saxdor models in Cannes

Saxdor sells its boats through 180 dealers in more than 70 countries. Its main markets are in Europe and the USA. The shipyard offers a digital showroom where customers can configure boats virtually.
