Sea-Doo is presenting numerous innovations for the 2026 model year, with two main focuses: improved connectivity and more customisation options. In doing so, the manufacturer aims to further develop the riding experience and at the same time address the desire of many customers to personalise their boats.

The larger 10.25-inch touchscreen display is a central component of the technical development. After it was first introduced on the Sea-Doo GTX Limited 325 in 2025, where it quickly proved popular, it is now being extended to other models. From 2026, it will be standard equipment on the RXT-X, Wake Pro and Explorer Pro, and will be available as an option for the RXP-X.

Advantages of the display

The display not only offers riders a better overview of important information, but can also be customised. Driving statistics, a compass and navigation are displayed via the BRP GO! app, which can be extended with a Navionics subscription. Music control is now also integrated into the Sea-Doo screen. In addition, routes can be planned and shared with friends, making it easier for drivers to orientate and network on the water.

Model-dependent functions

In addition to the general options, there are also model-specific extensions. On the Sea-Doo RXP-X, the so-called launch mode is controlled via the display, which enables particularly powerful launches. On the Wake Pro, the ski mode is now integrated directly into the touchscreen. It offers five different ramp profiles, which are orientated to the rider's ability and are designed to ensure a safe and controlled ride during water sports.

New colours for more individuality on your Sea-Doo jet boat

Sea-Doo is also setting new accents in the area of design. Colours play a decisive role for many riders when choosing a jet boat, which is why the manufacturer is expanding its range with fresh and eye-catching paint finishes. The Spark Trixx will be available in the new Gulfstream Blue and Orange Crush colours in 2026, while the GTI SE 130/170 models will be offered in Eclipse Black with Laguna Green. For the performance-oriented RXP-X and RXT-X jet boats, there is a premium paint finish in Gulfstream Blue, which emphasises the sporty character of the machines.

Ole Puls was born in Schleswig in 1999. He quickly swapped the football pitch for the Schlei and grew up sailing a wide variety of dinghies and tall ships. From his grandfather's self-built wooden opti and a Europe to a 49er and an X362 Sport, there was a lot to choose from. After leaving school, Puls decided to train as a boat builder at the high-tech shipyard Knierim Yachtbau in Kiel in 2016. He successfully completed his training in 2020 and stayed at the shipyard as a bachelor. In 2022, he decided not only to build boats, but also to test them. Since then, he has been working for Delius Klasing Verlag in the Test & Technology section of BOOTE magazine. The training he received and the eye for detail and quality of workmanship he acquired help him immensely today. Even though he is a regatta sailor with heart and soul, he feels right at home on motorboats and enjoys separating his professional and private lives and yet combining them. Because we all know one thing: there is simply no better place to be than on the water.
