The US shipyard Regal has added another model to its Express Cruiser family - the Regal 28 Express. The 8.78 metre boat is the smallest in the range.

Despite the compact size of the Regal 28 Express, the manufacturer from the US state of Florida promises extensive standard equipment and many features that can also be found on the two larger models in the range (30 and 35 feet). These include a complete galley with fridge, cooker and microwave and two separate sleeping areas; on the one hand the V-berth in the foredeck, which can be converted into a seating area, and on the other an aft cabin with double berth. Windows in the hull provide natural light below deck.

The cockpit of the 8.78 metre long glider offers plenty of seating: In addition to a double bench seat at the helm to starboard and a comfortable sunbed to port, the sunbed can be converted so that a maximum of five people can sit opposite each other. There are several options for motorising the Regal 28 Express, which weighs around 2820 kg, with built-in petrol engines (up to a maximum of 300 hp) or built-in diesel engines (maximum 220 hp). The price for the GRP cabin cruiser is quoted from 88,908 euros.

Christian Tiedt was born in Hamburg in 1975, but grew up in the northern suburbs of the city - except for numerous visits to the harbor, North Sea and Baltic Sea, but without direct access to water sports for a long time. His first adventures then took place on dry land: With the classics from Chichester, Slocum and Co. After completing his vocational training, his studies finally gave him the opportunity (in terms of time) to get active on the water - and to obtain the relevant licenses. First with cruising and then, when he joined BOOTE in 2004, with motorboats of all kinds. In the meantime, Christian has been able to get to know almost all of Europe (and some more distant destinations) on his own keel and prefers to share his adventures and experiences as head of the travel department for YACHT and BOOTE in cruise reports.
