When it gets too boring on the deck of the super yacht, guests can go down into the depths in style. The U-Boat Worx Super Yacht Sub 3 comes with a new thruster and improved communication channel. Introducing the submarine

With the Super Yacht Sub 3, two passengers plus pilot travel up to 300 metres below the water's surface, travelling at a speed of three knots on a relaxed discovery tour. The underwater adventure should be as comfortable as possible for the guests, which is why the features of the revised model include a self-developed thruster that has more thrust than its predecessor, allowing the submarine to be manoeuvred more smoothly and precisely. And it's nice and quiet, which guests and the underwater world appreciate.

Communication between the submarine and the surface

The updated version also has a USBL system with two new functions. One enables seamless communication between the submarine and the surface by automatically transmitting important measured values such as oxygen content and battery level. This makes operation more convenient and, above all, more efficient.

Google Maps for the underwater world

USBL also makes diving safer in another way: the system serves as a localisation instrument that provides GPS information in real time, which is overlaid with Navionics maps. This enables precise navigation and dangerous areas are recognised and avoided. A kind of Google Maps in the ocean.

Comfort is a must on board the Super Yacht Sub 3 submarine. The pilot's seat is very comfortable, supports the back and ensures that the helmsman or helmswoman stays fit during longer missions. Roy Heijdra, Marketing Manager of U-Boat Worx, is happy: "The Super Yacht Sub 3 redefines the possibilities of underwater exploration for superyacht owners."

Uske was born just outside Volkswagen in 1970 and tested various small boats with sails through her boyfriend (now husband 😊) on a quarry pond. Her studies in Kiel took her to the Baltic Sea with boats of all kinds and eventually to a regatta from Hong Kong to Mauritius via the Academic Sailing Club. Her teacher training ended at the Burda School of Journalism in Munich instead of in the classroom and finally at Boote Exclusiv. After a long break and various stories about house building, she returned to Delius Klasing and has been filling the magazine with long stories about large ships ever since. A family-owned H-boat was quickly sold again as the mother realized that sailing with two small children was neither relaxing nor fun.
