The Greek shipyard Technohull presents the Alpha 45, a 13.8 metre long dayboat that combines speed and comfort.

The Technohull Alpha 45 measures 13.8 metres in length and 4.3 metres in width. The unladen weight without engines is around 6,500 kg. The boat is CE category B certified for offshore sailing and can accommodate up to 16 passengers. The model will be available from March 2026 and is positioned between the existing Alpha 40 and Alpha 50 models.

The hull is based on the so-called Dynastream Deep V design with ventilated steps. According to the shipyard, these steps are intended to increase the sailing performance and improve handling at the same time. The bow is designed as a wave-piercing shape - a construction that cuts through the waves in heavy seas. There is a choice of outboard or inboard propulsion. The maximum motorisation is four outboards with 500 hp each. With this configuration, the manufacturer claims a cruising speed of over 40 knots and a top speed of over 85 knots.

Wind protection and steering position of the Technohull Alpha 45

The Alpha 45 has a redesigned windscreen and a special hardtop. The design has a greater inclination than its predecessor models. Side deflectors can be opened and are designed to direct the airflow away from the helm.

The steering position offers two rows of seats, each with three seats. The driver sits in the centre of the front row. This central position allows access to all controls and offers a clear view to all sides. The console accommodates the electronics and other equipment. The front part of the centre console contains a forward-facing bench seat.

The deck is designed as a walkaround. There is a U-shaped sunbathing area in the bow. Technohull offers various configurations in the cockpit. A smaller or larger sunbathing area in the stern can be combined with forward-facing seating. Alternatively, an L-shaped seating area is available, which provides access to the bathing platform on the port side. The inboard version has a spacious sunbathing area above the engine compartment. This version is 14.05 metres long.

A door in the side console leads into the cabin. The space offers a double berth for two people. The headroom is generous for a boat of this size. A separate wet room extends across the full width and contains a shower.
