The Aquador 30 HT has everything you need to go cruising right away. The shipyard recommends Mercury's TDI engine with 370 hp, sterndrive and twin propeller as the motorisation

If you look at the price tags at boat shows, you will usually only find out half the truth, because the price quoted there is usually only for the entry-level model without many accessories. If the dealer then starts doing the maths, it's easy to add a few thousand more.

The special edition of our test boat, the Aquador 30 HT, is different. For example, it comes with a hot water boiler, anchor gear and plotter as standard. In short, you only need to bring your personal belongings on board and you can set off straight away, whatever the weather.

We were travelling by boat off Neustadt in Holstein....

Deputy Editor in Chief BOOTE

Ralf Marquard discovered his enthusiasm for boating on the tranquil Aller, first with inflatable boats and later with a 6-meter cabin cruiser. His electrical engineering studies at HAW Hamburg took him from the southern Heidekreis (Lower Saxony) to the Hanseatic city. Ralf Marquard has been working for the BOOTE editorial team since 1997, where he trained as a test editor. He tests both small inflatable boats and larger yachts. His personal boat is a 4.50 meter long, self-built wooden boat with a 50 hp outboard motor. In 2007, he was appointed deputy editor-in-chief at BOOTE.
