Boarncruiser Elegance 1440 CS The owner's cabin is located in the centre of the boat. Inland cruising is just as much on the agenda as deep-sea excursions

The abbreviation CS stands for "centre sleeper" in our test boat cruiser, which loosely translates as "sleeping in the middle".

The Dutch shipyard De Boarnstream International Motoryachts even advertises this cabin in its brochure as: "the biggest centre sleeper in the world under 15 metres". The advantages of such a boat layout are obvious, as the boat has the greatest width in the centre and the maximum possible space is used.

This applies not only to the cabin itself, which has a double berth (for walking around), plenty of cupboards and cosy benches, but also to the spacious wet room. The headroom in this centre area is between around 1.91 m and 2.00 m. And the best thing about it...
