Focus Power 33: A touring boat for a crew of four who want to explore the sea and inland waters on their own

Ever seen it under a different name? Maybe, because our test boat used to be sold with a similar design under the name Elan. However, the shipyard had to cease production. The new owner took over the moulds of the Elan and had them redesigned, but not the name.

It now goes by the name Focus Power 33 and has a very similar "DNA" to its predecessor.

It is sold and built by the Dutch company Focus Motor Yachts. Their production facilities are located in Europe.

With a few exceptions, the workmanship makes a solid impression. Some of the shortcomings include the edges of the lid not being completely clean, and the boat builder didn't have a good day with some of the silicone seams either. We liked the hose feed-throughs with edge protection, as nothing rubs through so quickly.

We drove our test boat on the Rhine near Worms, where the German dealer Allegro Boote is based. We entered the Focus, which was moored at the jetty, via the bathing platform. From there, we enter the cockpit via a stern door. Here awaits us...
