Beginner boats are not always easy to spot: Small does not automatically mean that it is good
small does not automatically mean that it is good, safe and easy to sail, let alone inexpensive. We were therefore very excited to see how the manufacturer has reinterpreted the requirements for such a boat with the Activ 555 BR.
Admittedly, the test conditions could not have been better. A pleasantly mild and windless autumn day on the River Main near Schweinfurt, where the German dealer Boote-Pfister has its test drive jetty.
Even the first impression is very positive...
