Tuccoli Marine presented the T235 SF at the Pescare Show in Rimini. The boat measures 7.2 metres in length and 2.55 metres in width. Its special feature is its CE category B certification. This classification allows it to be used in significant wave heights of up to four metres and wind force 8. Normally, only much larger boats receive this approval. The T235 SF is the first model in the new Executive Sport Vessel series, or ESV for short.
The shipyard uses what it calls an "overengineering" approach in the design. The hull consists of biaxial fabrics that are laminated in several layers. According to the manufacturer, this construction method is intended to provide greater rigidity and better damping in waves. Marcello Gherbin, Sales and Marketing Manager at the shipyard, explains: "We prioritise structural reserves and robustness over pure weight and cost optimisation.
The T235 SF can be equipped with either a single outboard motor or two outboards. The maximum total output is 300 hp. With this motorisation, the boat can reach a top speed of 42 knots.
The cockpit can be remodelled with folding and retractable seats. Special fishing equipment can be installed for use when fishing. A hob and sink are located under the hardtop. The forward cabin offers a V-shaped berth over two metres long. A separate room houses the toilet with washbasin and shower. This layout allows for day trips with the family as well as fishing trips lasting several days.
Every T235 SF receives a digital boat passport. An NFC chip is integrated into the hull during lamination. The construction certificate, the materials used, the maintenance history and the technical manuals can be accessed via smartphone. The system is intended to make the resale value more transparent, as buyers can check the documentation directly. Tuccoli Marine is also responding to upcoming EU regulations on the traceability of boat building materials.
Tuccoli Marine has been producing boats for 70 years. The shipyard specialises in fishing boats that are also designed for the leisure sector. All work steps from design to final assembly take place in Italy. The company combines functional equipment for anglers with a high standard of fittings.
