Boats of around 10 metres in length usually have 4 berths. With only one double berth in the bow, our two test boats are therefore outsiders. Here, the designers placed more emphasis on sportiness - and above all on a large cockpit for life in the open air, but both manufacturers also offer family versions with a total of 4 berths. Bavaria calls the model "32 S" and Sessa "Oyster 30". There is also agreement on the CE category. The shipyards recommend the sailing area "outside coastal waters" (category B) and the workmanship of the boats is impressive, with the exception of a few details. Both shine thanks to their immaculate gelcoat surfaces. Sessa has an almost complete protective coating on the inside. This is only partially true of Bavaria, where the protective colour was missing on the inside of the cockpit shell (top). Both shipyards reinforced the cleat and railing attachment points in an exemplary manner. The carpenters and upholsterers also did a good job.
