"Silver snake": With the V-6 diesel engine from Volkswagen Marine, the Viper 243 Silver is not only economical, but also fast.

Europe Marine has been producing sports boats from 5.40 m to 9.80 m under the "Viper" label for around eight years. And with considerable success

Reason enough for the owners, Robert and Peter Nürnberger, to release their Viper 243 as a special "Silver" model with a special colour scheme and equipment. The hull and deck of the boats are laminated by hand in a German plastics factory.

Europe Marine installs the engines, interior and everything else that is part of the "all-round package" itself in Budenheim in the Rhineland, where the hull and deck of our test boat are smooth on the inside and have a clean protective coating. Seven coats of clear varnish provide gloss and the necessary surface hardness.

The inboard boats are fitted with either diesel or petrol engines from Volvo Penta, MerCruiser and, more recently, VW V-6 diesels, as in our test boat. There is little to criticise about the technical installations.
