A big hello for "Dagger". Like its sister "Symmetry", the 67 metres have fine outer lines from RWD.

Benetti has launched two 67-metre units from the B.Now series within three weeks. The steel hulls "Symmetry" and "Dagger" are the first units of this format with hybrid drive.

The Italian shipyard has caused a stir in the industry with the launch of two superyachts within a very short space of time. "Dagger" was launched in Livorno on 9 February 2026 - just three weeks after her sister yacht "Symmetry". Both units belong to the B.Now 67M family and have an Oasis Deck® with infinity pool and fold-out side wings. Ciao, "Irina".

The exterior lines of the steel-aluminium constructions were developed together with the British design studio RWD, while Reymond Langton Design ("Symmetry") and Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design ("Dagger") were responsible for the interior.

Travelling with hybrid drive

The yachts are the first 67-metre units in the B.Now series with hybrid propulsion. In this concept, three key components - main engines, generators and battery pack - work in variable synergy, so the most efficient energy source is used at the start: the engines can generate electricity, the generators can contribute to propulsion, and the batteries can cover peak loads or ensure absolutely silent hotel operation.

This system is complemented by an efficient shaft line with adjustable propellers which, unlike fixed propellers, adjusts the angle of inclination of the blades. The focus on economy is also evident in the utilisation of waste heat: the recovery system uses the heat generated by the generators to heat the service water and the swimming pool.

Every interior is different

While the exterior lines of the two yachts are similar, the interiors are completely different. For "Symmetry", Studio Reymond Langton Design developed an inviting ambience in light colours and painted metal surfaces. One highlight is the crystal glass chandelier with a reflective "ice effect".

In the interior of "Dagger", on the other hand, Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design went to work. Bold colour combinations and nine different types of wood come together here. At the express wish of the owner, a passionate art connoisseur, various galleries were designed on board. There are special shelves for sculptures and illuminated wall niches for paintings

Uske was born just outside Volkswagen in 1970 and tested various small boats with sails through her boyfriend (now husband 😊) on a quarry pond. Her studies in Kiel took her to the Baltic Sea with boats of all kinds and eventually to a regatta from Hong Kong to Mauritius via the Academic Sailing Club. Her teacher training ended at the Burda School of Journalism in Munich instead of in the classroom and finally at Boote Exclusiv. After a long break and various stories about house building, she returned to Delius Klasing and has been filling the magazine with long stories about large ships ever since. A family-owned H-boat was quickly sold again as the mother realized that sailing with two small children was neither relaxing nor fun.
