AB Yachts & Maiora surprised visitors to the show in Fort Lauderdale with three new products, two versions of the AB95 and the Exuma 36.

The 28.95 metre long and well over 50 knots (!) fast AB95 is based on the recently launched AB110, which combines all the technical refinements that the brand has developed in its 30-year history with the design of designer Marco Casamonti.

AB Yachts launches two versions of the AB95

The first version follows its larger sister and combines stylish saloons with sporty aspirations. The focus is on the flybridge, which is glazed flush with the yacht profile. According to the NEXT Yacht Group product managers, the second version, the AB95 S, is even more of a "racing car of the sea" and promises a cultivated adrenaline rush. The convertible top integrated into the streamlined profile is a perfect match.

The Maiora brand unveiled the Exuma 36, designed by Quartostile (exterior lines) and Acube Design (interior). The designers added even more glamour to an award-winning flybridge model. The Exuma 36 is designed to reach a top speed of 35 knots and, with a draught of less than 1.40 metres, is ideal for the shallow bays of the Caribbean.

Uske was born just outside Volkswagen in 1970 and tested various small boats with sails through her boyfriend (now husband 😊) on a quarry pond. Her studies in Kiel took her to the Baltic Sea with boats of all kinds and eventually to a regatta from Hong Kong to Mauritius via the Academic Sailing Club. Her teacher training ended at the Burda School of Journalism in Munich instead of in the classroom and finally at Boote Exclusiv. After a long break and various stories about house building, she returned to Delius Klasing and has been filling the magazine with long stories about large ships ever since. A family-owned H-boat was quickly sold again as the mother realized that sailing with two small children was neither relaxing nor fun.
