The launch of Alia Yachts' latest masterpiece, the Sea Club 53, went off without a hitch. 53 metres long, the superyacht was launched in Antalya using a synchro-lift. The final outfitting and sea trials are still to be completed before delivery, which is scheduled for August. When she is finally released into the open sea, the Sea Club 53 will be one of the most powerful and flexible superyachts in the size class with an interior volume of less than 500 gross tonnes.
On board the 53 there will be everything that inspires owners today: helicopter, diving boat, 13-metre tender, 8-metre crew tender, two sailing cats, two dinghies, two waverunners plus various water sports equipment and diving gear.
Guests are accommodated in a luxurious owner's suite and two additional guest cabins, while the spa area meets the standards of a superyacht. "The Sea Club 53 showcases the best of what we have to offer here at Alia Yachts," says Alia President Gökhan Çelik. The shipyard worked closely with Azure Yacht Design on the exterior lines and layout and with Diana Yacht Design on the hull design for the new addition, which can reach speeds of up to 19 knots.
The Sea Club 53 was built at an ambitious pace. Gökhan Çelik: "We were able to turn the project from a dream into a floating reality in just over two years. The yacht was built in three separate parts: Hull, superstructure and helideck, before being joined together at the end of 2022.
The owner can now combine the fun of a chase boat with the finish and styling of a superyacht, plus a sophisticated platform for activities in and under water as well as in the air. The helideck is fully certified to H-145. Her huge exterior surfaces are also ideal for parties.
The toy storage room on the lower deck measures 50 square metres and there is also a special water sports centre. With more than 20 modular elements, the crew can offer a new attraction every day. "The Sea Club project marks the beginning of a completely new concept in the yacht industry," promises Onne Logger from Azure Yacht Design.
