Less than a year ago, "Alisa", number one of the 50 metre long steel and aluminium series, moored in the same place on the Navicelli Canal. The new Oceano 50 is destined for an owner from Florida, who closely co-ordinated the exterior and interior design with Alberto Mancini and chose a six-cabin layout. Project Verona is designed to run at a maximum of 16 knots and, at a cruising speed of eleven knots, is capable of 4500 nautical miles of non-stop cruising.
"This twelfth launch of Overmarine's metal department will be followed by two more in the coming months. We are very proud of the results that this division has achieved in the few years since the merger with the Viareggio shipyard, which builds composite ships," explains Maurizio Balducci, CEO of the Overmarine Group.
Four more units of the Mangusta Oceano 50 are to be built in Pisa over the next few years. The next Oceano 50 for sale is hull number six and is expected to be delivered in summer 2026.
