Atla Yachts Explorer: The 45 metre by 9.70 metre Mannerfelt design is flexible. There are four drive options to choose from
Y.CO presents the Atla Yachts Explorer 150, which will be built within two and a half years at Zwijnenburg Yachting in the Netherlands. With a mix of semi-custom design and eco-friendly propulsion options, the Explorer offers luxury and sustainability in one.

Y.CO is the seller of the Atla Yachts Explorer 150. The 45 metre long project comes from the drawing boards of the Swedish studios Mannerfelt Design, Kramer Marine Engineering (construction) and Koncept (interior). Thanks to the semi-custom principle, the 150 can be built from "green" steel and aluminium within two and a half years at Zwijnenburg Yachting in the Netherlands.

Atla Yachts Explorer comes with 499 Gross Tons

The 499 gross tonne Explorer would come with diesel-electric engines, a maximum speed of twelve knots, a cruising speed of nine knots and a range of 4000 nautical miles. Buyers have the option of propulsion via methanol or fuel cells, and a hybrid option is also possible, with space for solar cells on the roof of the sun deck and for a battery pack in the hull.

Garage under the pool

The amenities include an XL aft deck with pool and a saloon that visually extends upwards thanks to the centrally positioned, open staircase. Six suites are planned, including the master on the main deck. A seven-metre tender plus two jet skis can be stowed under the pool for excursions. Various crane options can also hoist four-wheel drive vehicles onto the deck.

Uske was born just outside Volkswagen in 1970 and tested various small boats with sails through her boyfriend (now husband 😊) on a quarry pond. Her studies in Kiel took her to the Baltic Sea with boats of all kinds and eventually to a regatta from Hong Kong to Mauritius via the Academic Sailing Club. Her teacher training ended at the Burda School of Journalism in Munich instead of in the classroom and finally at Boote Exclusiv. After a long break and various stories about house building, she returned to Delius Klasing and has been filling the magazine with long stories about large ships ever since. A family-owned H-boat was quickly sold again as the mother realized that sailing with two small children was neither relaxing nor fun.
