With the B-50, Drettmann delivers the new generation of its own brand Bandido - the custom department for exclusive explorers.

With a volume of 499 gross tonnes, the 49.90 by 9.30 metre B-50 offers space for twelve guests in six suites, with the owner enjoying a private deck plus jacuzzi. The Bremen-based company has thought of everything: open-air cinema at the rear of the upper deck, gym with folding balcony on the lower deck and six-metre pool on the main deck. Here, the bulwarks lie on their sides to extend the lounge area.

Travelling with diesel-electric pod propulsion, Drettmann specifies a top speed of 14 knots. At 10 knots, the B-50 can travel around 4500 nautical miles non-stop. Location unknown.

Uske was born just outside Volkswagen in 1970 and tested various small boats with sails through her boyfriend (now husband 😊) on a quarry pond. Her studies in Kiel took her to the Baltic Sea with boats of all kinds and eventually to a regatta from Hong Kong to Mauritius via the Academic Sailing Club. Her teacher training ended at the Burda School of Journalism in Munich instead of in the classroom and finally at Boote Exclusiv. After a long break and various stories about house building, she returned to Delius Klasing and has been filling the magazine with long stories about large ships ever since. A family-owned H-boat was quickly sold again as the mother realized that sailing with two small children was neither relaxing nor fun.
