Colourful smoke rises at CRN. The shipyard celebrates the launch of "Amor à Vida". A 67.55 metre-long custom-built vessel rushes into the water.

The private ceremony in honour of the steel-aluminium displacement vessel took place at the Ferretti superyacht shipyard in Ancona. The 11.80 metre wide "Amor à Vida", previously known as Project 143 Maranello, will soon set sail with an interior volume of 1,450 gross tonnes. The equally long Project 146 from CRN is already up and running.

Nuvolari Lenard was again responsible for the design of the exterior lines and the interior, and the living space for up to twelve guests extends over six decks. 17 crew members are planned. Brokerage firm Moran Yacht & Ship played a key role as project manager and representative of the owner.

A CRN with hybrid drive

A hybrid drive is used on board, which increases the fuel efficiency of the main engines and generators. An energy-saving heat recovery system heats the water for the pools and sanitary facilities.

In the coming months, work will continue on the interior and exterior fittings, and preparations are already underway for test runs. The handover of the "Amor à Vida" is planned for spring 2025. Another occasion to pop the corks. Only recently CRN 60th birthday.
