The trade fair in the Rhine metropolis is still one of the most successful boat shows in the world. "We will once again be hosting almost 1,500 exhibitors in 17 halls and are expecting more than 200,000 visitors," says boot boss Petros Michelidakis confidently. In addition to numerous new yacht models in all sizes, there will be even more hands-on activities and stage events this year.
"The trade fair business has changed in recent years. People who visit a boat show today naturally want to see exciting products, but they also want to be entertained and inspired," reveals Michelidakis. The trade fair management has responded to this wish with the new event concept, which above all also involves the next generation of water sports enthusiasts.
For lovers of large yachts, there is once again plenty to discover this year. "Hall 6 is booked out to the last seat and offers a wide range of yachts around 70 feet in length," says the exhibition director. The show superlative this year will be provided by the Italian Sanlorenzo shipyard with its 27.95 metre long SP92. The 28-knot semi-sailor with dynamic styling from Studio Zuccon is celebrating its German premiere in Düsseldorf. But yacht brands such as Azimut, Riva, Wally, Princess, Explorer Yachts and Sirena Marine also have numerous new products on show.
Anyone looking for sailing yachts will find what they are looking for in Halls 15 and 16. The 21-metre Hallberg-Rassy 69, flagship of the traditional Swedish shipyard of the same name, will once again dominate this year. The Dutch brand Contest Yachts will be bringing its brand new Contest 63 CS model, Solaris is coming with three yachts (Solaris 50, 55, 64RS) and Nautor will be dropping anchor in Hall 16 with the Swan 58.
Superboats such as the Stratos DB50 or the striking models from Brabus Marine attract visitors in Hall 5. BOOTE EXCLUSIV can be found at the Delius Klasing stand in Hall 10.
