Large formats on dry land: This year, too, the Superyacht Hall 6 will once again feature numerous world premieres and innovations that look even bigger outside their element.
boot Düsseldorf is still the world's largest indoor showcase for boats and superyachts. We show which yacht highlights await visitors.

Largest water sports fair in the world

From 17 to 25 January 2026, the trade fair is expecting more than 200,000 water sports enthusiasts from over 100 countries, who can look forward to a varied show programme in the 17 exhibition halls on the Rhine. In addition to the event character, visitors will of course continue to focus on the 1,000 or so boats and yachts on display.

Wide range in the superyacht segment

After some market-related slowdowns in recent years, numerous international shipyards are returning to Düsseldorf in greater numbers, which will significantly increase the density and variety in the upper segment. Numerous world and German premieres will be on display, particularly in Superboat Hall 5 and the neighbouring superyacht area in Hall 6, which will hopefully provide the shipyards with well-filled order books after this week in the economic centre.

BOOTE and BOOTE EXCLUSIV in the home territory

For BOOTE EXCLUSIV, boot has been a must-attend event since the very first edition. "For us, this trade fair is a fixture every year - it's like our home turf," says Editor-in-Chief Martin Hager. "At the Delius Klasing stand in Hall 10, G18, we meet our readers, offer presentations on many exciting topics and, of course, present our extensive range of publishing products." Hall 5 will focus on the still booming market for tenders, weekenders and chaseboats - often referred to as the "super sports cars of the seas" - and will be home to prominent brands such as Brabus Marine, Frauscher and De Antonio, who will be bringing their 60-foot flagship D60 with them this year.

Sanlorenzo shows the trade fair superlative

Hall 6 is traditionally a crowd-puller and is an integral part of many visitors' visit to the trade fair, as you can get closer to large new yachts here than almost anywhere else. With the 27.43 metre long SD90, the Italian shipyard Sanlorenzo is providing the largest exhibit this year. At the neighbouring stand of sister company Bluegame, the 25-metre-long BGX83, the flagship celebrating its world premiere, will be available for viewing.

The spectrum of models and innovations in the 70-foot length range is wider than ever. The Ferretti Group, Azimut, Solaris, Princess, Sirena Marine, Absolute, Galeon, Explorer Yachts, Sunseeker, Prestige and Pearl will be represented. Superyacht variety from Italy, England and Poland. Fans of large sailing yachts will find what they are looking for in Halls 15 and 16. The Grand Soleil 65 Performance with a length of 21.60 metres dominates the exhibition there. The CNB brand, which belongs to Solaris, will be showing the new CNB 62 model, and Beneteau will be presenting the First 60, a high-performance sloop with great fun and regatta potential. World premiere!

Martin Hager

Editor in Chief YACHT

Martin Hager is editor-in-chief of the titles YACHT and BOOTE EXCLUSIV and has been working for Delius Klasing Verlag for 20 years. He was born in Heidelberg in 1978 and started sailing at the age of six, in an Opti of course. This was soon followed by 420s, Sprinta Sport and 470s, which he also sailed on the regatta course with his brother. His parents regularly took him on charter trips through the Greek and Balearic Islands. Even at a young age, it was clear to him that he wanted to turn his passion for water sports into a career. After graduating from high school and completing an internship at the Rathje boatbuilding company in Kiel, it was clear that he did not want to become a classic boatbuilder. Instead, he successfully studied shipbuilding and marine engineering in the Schleswig-Holstein state capital and focused on yacht design wherever he could. His diploma thesis dealt with the “Testing of a new speed prediction method for sailing yachts”. In 2004, the superyacht magazine BOOTE EXCLUSIV was looking for an editor with technical and nautical background knowledge, a position that was perfect for Martin Hager. The application was successful and a two-year traineeship was arranged. After twelve years as an editor, the editorial team changed and he took over responsibility for BOOTE EXCLUSIV as editor-in-chief in 2017. After long-time YACHT editor-in-chief Jochen Rieker moved to the role of publisher, Martin Hager also took over the position of editor-in-chief of Europe's largest sailing magazine YACHT, which is celebrating its 120th anniversary this year, at the beginning of 2023. When he's not working on topics for the two water sports titles, Martin Hager likes to go out on the water himself - preferably with kite and wingfoil equipment or on a little after-work trip across the Alster.
