Boote Exclusiv

With the Admiral 72, Giorgio Armani did not design a yacht, but a legacy in steel, glass and quiet grandeur. The fact that he was no longer able to see the ice-class displacer christened "No Rush" afloat lends this masterpiece in metallic greige a special melancholy: it is the last great work of a designer who never had to be loud to set standards.
During our tour of the four decks, it became clear just how much attitude has become architecture here. No showmanship, no excess, but calm, proportion and an almost intimate elegance on 72 metres. Armani did not think in superlatives, but in lines, light and lifestyle - and that is precisely why this yacht is so extraordinary. It is both a world cruise and a retreat, a statement and a refuge. The Admiral 72 shows: True exclusivity needs no staging. It is created where perfection seems so natural that it is touching.
At the beginning of March, it was BOOTE EXCLUSIV under sail again. 24 readers experienced the Caribbean in all its diversity with us and on the legendary 117-metre windjammer "Sea Cloud II". The 900-nautical-mile trip was far more than just a journey: an experience between palm beaches, the sound of sailing and the rhythm of the trade winds. From the Îles des Saintes via St Lucia, Martinique and the British Virgin Islands, the Caribbean showed itself from its most beautiful side - exotic, elegant, decelerated.
The grand finale: Saint-Barthélemy, stage of the St Barths Bucket superyacht regatta. From the front row, our guests watched 33 superyachts racing off Gustavia - an event in a class of its own.
In 2027, we will once again be travelling the Caribbean together. If you're interested in superyachts, this is the place to be. The density of giants is exceptionally high: this year, WhatsApp founder Jan Koum anchored his 101.50-metre Moonrise, complete with support yacht Nebula and helicopter transfers, right next to the Sea Cloud II. In front of us was media mogul and party king David Geffen with his 138-metre "Rising Sun", and the 106-metre three-master "Black Pearl" sailed in show mode in front of the harbour entrance.
Enjoy reading!
Yours sincerely, Martin Hager
