Champagne and confetti: The grand launch of the Benetti Class 44M "Fortitude 1"

At 44 by nine metres, it is the largest GRP model built by the shipyard in Viareggio. She announced the new class in grand style in 2024 Living comfort without GRP limits and sent the number one "Juno's 7" into the water at the end of last year.

The launch of the "Fortitude1" is also of great symbolic significance for Benetti, particularly in Italy, where it is an important ritual that celebrates the country's shipbuilding tradition.

Custom for a returning customer

The 340-tonner is the result of many years of collaboration between the shipyard, the owner - who already owns a Benetti - and Studio Cassetta Yacht Designers. The latter is responsible for both the timelessly elegant exterior lines and the interior of the Benetti Class 44M.

The Benetti Class 44M stands for convivial on-board life

Natural light plays a central role on board the Benetti and floods into the interior through the expansive glass surfaces. Clean lines and materials, such as the white marble floor on the main deck, harmonise with a light colour palette.

The yacht's special areas include the 102 square metre sun deck, the panoramic sky lounge, the Jacuzzi on the foredeck and the stern area of the main deck. These spaces reflect the owner's vision of experiencing the sea as something to be shared.

With the launch, the Benetti Class 44M is now entering the final expansion phase. Delivery of the "Fortitude1" is planned for summer 2025.
