New design: Alberto Mancini drew the lines of the almost 34 metre long yacht.
The first unit of the Mangusta GranSport 34 was launched in Viareggio. The 33.9 metre long model extends the GranSport line with contemporary technology and a more flexible layout. Alberto Mancini designed the yacht together with the design department of the Overmarine Group.

The new model builds on the success of the GranSport 33 of which twelve units have been delivered to date. Designer Alberto Mancini is responsible for the design together with the engineering department of the Overmarine Group.

The Mangusta GranSport 34 combines sporty lines with high performance and a more versatile layout. At 33.9 metres long and 7.4 metres wide, the shallow draught enables navigation in shallow waters. Performance goes hand in hand with comfort, while the living quality reaches a level that is otherwise reserved for much larger vessels. Mangusta GranSport 38.

Spacious rooms on two decks

The revised profile features larger glass surfaces on both the main deck and the lower deck. Interior and exterior areas merge seamlessly into one another. The generous spaces and constant visual contact with the sea create an immersive experience on board, which is an absolute priority for owners today.

One of the most striking features is the 40 square metre master suite on the main deck. The lower deck offers four guest cabins - two VIP and two double suites - as well as three crew cabins. This configuration creates a harmonious balance between living quality, privacy and operational efficiency.

Four Volvo Penta IPS drives

The Mangusta GranSport 34 utilises four Volvo Penta IPS engines. This drive configuration guarantees good manoeuvrability and minimises both fuel consumption and vibrations. A top speed of 24 knots and a considerable range make the format ideal for long-distance cruising. Shipyard report Viareggio and Pisa.

Compared to its 33-metre predecessor, the Mangusta GranSport 34 has also evolved in technical terms. The aft cockpit and garage have been enlarged in order to install SCR filters. These filters are now mandatory for sailing in ECA areas, such as along the US coasts.

Fit for the American market

The number one is being built for an American owner, with delivery planned by the end of May 2026. Stefano Arlunno, President of Mangusta Americas, explains: "The Mangusta GranSport 34 has been enthusiastically received overseas. Six units of the 33-metre model have already been delivered to American customers."

The secret of its success lies in its sporty profile and the flawless balance between generous volume, a speed of up to 24 knots and a very shallow draught. This is a key feature for sailing in US waters and the Caribbean, Arlunno continues.

Her studies in Kiel took her to the Baltic Sea with boats of all kinds and eventually to a regatta from Hong Kong to Mauritius via the Academic Sailing Club. Her teacher training ended at the Burda School of Journalism in Munich instead of in the classroom and finally at Boote Exclusiv. After a long break and various stories about house building, she returned to Delius Klasing and has been filling the magazine with long stories about large ships ever since. A family-owned H-boat was quickly sold again as the mother realized that sailing with two small children was neither relaxing nor fun.
