Custom Line 50: The aluminium displacer was suspended in the travel lift at 430 tonnes. The bridge far forward allows an owner's deck above it
Custom Line celebrates the launch of the new 50, a 49.94-metre all-aluminium model. The trade fair première is planned for the Monaco Yacht Show

Custom Line is delighted to announce the launch of the first 50 (previously Navetta 50). The 49.94 metre long and 9.60 metre wide all-aluminium construction is the first metal model of the Ferretti Group brand, which has achieved success with large GRP formats. The services of CRN, neighbours in Ancona, were used to replace the building materials.

Project team insisted on a dedicated owner's level for the Custom Line 50

Unlike yachts of a similar size, which usually have the helm station on the upper deck, the project team insisted on a dedicated owner's level. As a result, the bridge was placed in the forward quarter of the hull, where it occupies a tween deck and leaves space for a captain's cabin.

Filippo Salvetti's vertical lines skilfully conceal this "staircase" in the course of the deck. The main deck is hardly restricted visually or spatially, which gave Antonio Citterio and Patricia Viel a great deal of creative freedom. Construction number one "Asante" has four additional VIP cabins on the lower deck and can reach 16 knots thanks to a CAT duo with 1081 kilowatts of power each. The Custom Line 50 celebrates its trade fair première at the Monaco Yacht Show.
