The second Support 53 yacht was launched in Antalya. The owner does not want to use it as a satellite, but as a mother ship

Damen Yachting launched another Support 53 yacht, "Five Oceans", in Antalya. The second unit in the line stood out with its striking light blue and orange paintwork in the style of the Gulf Oil racing team's road racers. The new model replaces the six 55-metre supply vessel, which was built with four engines instead of the current two. The Dutch shipyard giant Damen launched the yacht support series in 2009 with the conversion of an offshore supply vessel. "Five Oceans" manages 19 knots, but not to be at anchor before the mother ship. The satellites are not only used for storage.

US owner Tommy Allen is on the trail of the mysteries of nature with the non-profit organisation Five Oceans Global Solutions and has already used the 67-metre YS format "6711 Geo" as his sole yacht. Allen says of the new yacht: "You can sleep on it, fly off it and move it. For us, Yacht Support is a platform that allows us to do all the incredible things we wanted to do." His compatriot Anthony Hsieh uses the first YS53 "Bad Company Support" as the mother ship for his Sportfisher fleet, on which he spends most of his time. The Californian businessman carries a 50-footer on deck.
