The Italian shipyard has reached a milestone with the launch. With a length of almost 47 metres, the RJ155 is not only the largest model in the RJ series to date, but also the longest yacht ever built by Cantiere delle Marche (CdM). The 510-tonner marks the provisional climax of a success story that began in 2020 with the launch of the RJ130.
Since then, the RJ line has established itself as the benchmark for seaworthy yet elegant expedition yachts. After the RJ130, CdM delivered two RJ115 models - "Stellamar" and "Pazienza". Both 35-metre yachts set new standards in terms of comfort, design and customisation. However, the new addition now goes one step further, combining the proven DNA of the series with more volume (499 GT) and a greater range (5,000 nm). "Raw": Power at 30 metres.
With an overall length of 46.71 metres, a width of 8.83 metres and a draught of 2.65 metres, the Cantiere delle Marche RJ155 has impressive dimensions. The steel hull and aluminium superstructure underline its robust character.
The yacht is powered by two Caterpillar C32 Acert EPA Tier 3 engines. In combination with a tank capacity of 66,400 litres, this creates a range of over 5,000 nautical miles at a cruising speed of ten knots. Two pairs of electric stabilisers from CMC Marine keep the RJ155 on course and allow guests to travel in comfort.
Francesco Paszkowski is responsible for the exterior lines. He created a silhouette with dynamic lines, horizontal and diagonal lines flowing over gently rounded edges, giving the yacht an elegant face.
The interior of the RJ155 was designed by Achille Salvagni, who also designed much of the loose furniture. Salvagni dispensed with maritime clichés and instead favoured "sculptural spaces that radiate serenity and character". For him, the RJ155 is not just a yacht, "it is a floating home".
The RJ155 from Cantiere delle Marche offers plenty of space for twelve guests in five suites on three decks plus a sun deck; the owner's suite even has a private fitness area. Generous outdoor decks, tender garages and a spacious storage room for the toys emphasise the explorer character. The extended overhangs shade the terraces and connect the interior and exterior spaces.
Ennio Cecchini, President and co-founder of Cantiere delle Marche, is proud of the success: "We are honoured that a returning customer has entrusted us with such an important project."
The owner of the RJ155 had previously travelled with an RJ130 and now opted for a larger model - for more comfort and more power. According to Cecchini, there is no better proof of the quality of CdM's work than "satisfied customers who come back".
